Private Go Lessons
Mace Li (the owner of this web site) is pleased to offer private Go lessons on the Internet or locally in London, UK. You may have already known me from this website. Some additional information of myself:
What my previous student say about my teaching skills: He is the best! Beyond helping you find the "best moves", he's very conscientious and thorough in showing you all the possible follow-ups and consequences of any given cut or invasion. He teaches you the thought process so you have the confidence to make plans and verify your intuition, and he helps you appreciate the flexibility of the game. Taking lessons from him for one semester, my rating improved 5 stones! (By George Schmitt of University of Maryland Go Club) Pricing:

Please simply send me an email to arrange a lesson or discuss any related problems. My friend Rui (winner of the 6d section of the 2003 US OPEN) is offering lessons. He is located at Los Angeles, USA. After I won the 6d section of the 2003 US OPEN, I received many emails asking me if I would consider teaching. As a result, I now offer online lessons on both KGS and NNGS. My services include teaching games, reviews, comments on your own games, and answering a wide variety of questions related to the game of Go. My rate is $15/hour. If you are interested, please send me an email. Michael Yao (skilover 8d on KGS, euro 5d, GoR No. 1 in Sweden) is devoted to go promotion in Europe and has profound experience in teaching go, especially to beginners. Please contact him at michaelyao@hotmail.com. My Russian friend Alexander Dinerchtein, 1-dan professional is also offering Go lessons. You may find his webpage here: http://breakfast.go4go.net |
